Course description
Woodwork doesn't just open doors, it helps us build them too! Practical skills are always in demand by industry and in these courses you will learn what you need to start a modern apprenticeship or the make the most of college or university.
The skills learned through Practical Woodworking will help across a multitude of careers. The manual dexterity built up helps not just our future joiners, but also plumbers, electricians, bricklayers and roofers. It also opens up more specialist trades such as cabinet making and tool making.

When I leave Armadale Academy, I'd like to be a joiner.
I've always enjoyed CDT and really like making things. I love getting to use new tools and machinery and getting to grips with all the new things we learn in Practical Woodworking.
